The employee participates and engages in a full formal, full-time Detention Deputy Academy and in-house training and assigned work activities specifically designed and chosen to train and indoctrinate the individual in the field of corrections/detention. Work is performed under the immediate, daily, supervision and guidance of a higher-level deputy and/or academy instructor. The position reports to the MCSO Training Division Commander.
